2011 Disabled Veterans pheasant hunt

We had our first disabled veterans pheasant hunt in October of 2009 and it was literally a “ BLAST”!! 

We had our 5th bi-annual disabled veterans hunt March 19, 2011 at Sand Pines preserve located near St. Joseph, MN (Near St. Cloud). There were 20 hunters selected for this hunt.

  • 200 birds-each hunter average out to 10 birds
  • 10 stations manned by the preserve (it is a European style hunt)
  • A KING’S feast following the event (chicken and ribs with all the trimmings)
  • Ammunition supplied (may bring your own 20 ga.-12 ga. 410 ga. 4-6 shot)
  • All extra volunteers dinner cost will be 15 dollars.
  • Beverages provided and meat trays etc. during and after the hunt.
  • Possible door prizes for the veterans pending the funding raised.
Fall hunts available also. If you know of any disabled veteran interested or know of funding sources please let me know as soon as possible.
